Cabinet Timber Plantations

With the increasing number of lifestyle and large acreage private properties being built along the Eastern Seaboard we are now growing, on behalf of a few clients, cabinet timber plants in 15 litre bags. The advantages this offers our clients over traditional tube stock includes:

  • A larger root mass to enable longer survival rates in dry or low rain periods - especially if planted with water crystals
  • A specimen that is at least 1500mm tall that will survive kangaroo and wallaby grazing
  • The selection of the straightest and strongest stock to ensure high survival rates
  • Fully tax deductible if planted in accordance with current 'plantation timber' regulations. (we can provide consulting services in this area for a fee)
  • Either cutting grown stock from selected host plants or seed grown stock from specimens in your location

Suitable species for cabinet timber plantations include the following:

    • Acacia melanoxylon – Blackwood
    • Agathis robusta - Qld. Kauri Pine
    • Alphitonia excelsa - Red Ash
